Robotics

There are many robots that have deployed in the manufacturing sector; they are being used in spaces exploration (the current Mars rover ‘Curiosity’). Robots using artificial intelligence software together with powerful computer technology have been developing at a rapid rate, and are being deployed in many areas as stated

‘it seems that robotics is really on its way out of the lab and the world of defence and into the arms of the public sector in home and industry’. (A New Series: The Future of Robotics, The Next 20 Years)

‘Robotic technology has taken historic strides in the past decade. Nanorobotics is changing how scientists, doctors and surgeons think about the future of medicine. UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) have altered how states engage in conflict. And automotive technology now allows cars to parallel park themselves.’ (How Robots Could Change The World By 2023)

It is evident that robotics will have a major impact on our everyday life in the future; IT systems will be communicating with robotic devices for many various purposes. The computer plays a major role in robotics,.
